WKO Research Grant for Florian Krieger

On Tuesday, Florian Krieger, one of our PhDs from Team CryptEng, received a research grant from the WKO Steiermark (Styrian Chamber of Commerce) for his master’s thesis. His thesis supervisor, Florian Hirner, accompanied him.

The thesis resulted in a paper called “Aloha-HE: A Low-Area Hardware Accelerator for Client-Side Operations in Homomorphic Encryption”, which he later presented at the DATE’24 conference.
